Some people always have something to say. Always. Why?

Why do I feel the need to comment on your hair? If you’re clean shaven or a dreadlocked rasta, braided or with a 28” weave, that’s on you.

Why do I feel the need to comment on your clothing, whether Cavalli or camera? Why do I feel the need to comment on your watch and shoes? Whether Casio or Cartier, Bata or Berluti, they belong to you. Why do I feel the need to comment on your bicycle, motorcycle or motorcar?

You are you, and I am me.

Is it that I am not comfortable with my being me? Is it that I am envious of you? Why?

If I always have something to say about you (or anyone else), it says more about me than it does about you (or anyone else). In fact, it says very little about you (or anyone else), since everyone is entitled to their own opinion (and has one!), but speaks volumes about me.

You are you, and I am me.

…But some people always have something to say.
